Neighbourhoods first
We only launch in a district once 30 businesses have joined — otherwise it is not a service, just a map with gaps.
Founded in Vienna in 2019
Your neighbourhood, ready to order in one app.
Lonio connects restaurants, neighbourhood grocers, pharmacies, hotels, shops, travel agents and tradespeople across Austria — with one account, one basket and one receipt.
Why Lonio exists
A neighbourhood has more to offer than three chain stores.
In 2019, at a neighbourhood pub in Leopoldstadt, we counted how many apps a single household needs to get through the week: seven. A separate login for every sector, separate fees and separate delivery trips down the same street.
Lonio brings it all together. Businesses keep their prices, their menus and their names — we provide the technology, delivery and payment. Customers are left with one account, one basket and one trip.
No exclusivity agreements
Businesses are free to sell anywhere, including at their own front door.
Fixed commission instead of auctions
Alphabetical ranking, not bids for visibility.
Delivery with employed couriers
Our couriers are employees, not on-demand contractors.
What we ask you to judge us by
Four promises businesses can hold us to.
Transparent prices
The price on Lonio is the price at the business. We do not accept menu mark-ups.
Your data stays here
Servers in the EU, no resale of your data, and deletion on request within the law.
One trip instead of seven
Orders from several shops are combined — fewer trips, less packaging.
